Grabbing your readers attention within the first few seconds is the key to creating a successful web presence. The title is the first thing a reader sees so making it captivating is crucial.1- Include your keyword phrase in your title to maximize its effectiveness.
2- Add a click phrase that will entice your reader to choose your ad.
3- Include a benefit they can get by reading more.
Here are 2 titles, which one sounds more interesting:
“Search Engine Optimization Class” or “Work From Home - Learn Search Engine Optimization in 5 Days”
To break it down…
- Work From Home is your keyword phrase - what you will want to optimize your page or article for
- Learn Search Engine Optimization is your click phrase which will give them a reason to click on your ad
- In 5 Days is the benefit of your title.
I would suggest you write your title last. Don’t get hung up on the title until you have the article or web page created to back it up.
